MYANMAR Fishery Products Processors & Exporters Association has been established for the development of producing and exporting fishery product in Myanmar; promoting and supporting to trade in international market with high standard.
This association has been established since 2nd November, 2004 by the guidance of the Government of the Union of Myanmar.

Our aims and objectives are:

(a) to process fishery product, to cold storage, and to trade it conveniently;

(b) to develope the state's meat and fish sector and to perform to get foreign earning more;

(c) to alter the procession of the fishery product to meet international standard and market;

(d) to co-ordinate with the respective departments to produce fishery product and to advance export works;

(e) to get more attention on trading international fishery product (food safety) producing and
trading;

(f) to operate according to the rules and regulations of the government;

(g) to get the preferable international price of fishery products by discussing information regarding fishery product procession, exporting among members;

(h) to attend and get knowledge both the internal courses of the fishery department and external courses of foreign countries for food safety of the producing fishery products;

(i) to train human resource development for producing fishery product and exporting experience;

(j) to do research work for creating the new export items.
